Yule

also called Winter Solstice

The longest night, and the return of the sun.

Element
Fire in Darkness
Theme
Renewal • Inner Light • Hope
( Of this season )

Yule is the deep midnight of the year. It teaches that we do not wait passively for the light — we kindle it, in ourselves and for each other. This is the season of inner illumination and the slow, patient return.

Ancestral Note

Echoes Kwanzaa's Kinara, the Festival of Lights traditions, and the African solstice fires.
